In addition to this, Birchwood also offers a complimentary shuttle service during scheduled times to and from the airport as well as the nearby East Rand Mall shopping center. For recreational activities, Birchwood Hotel is surrounded by numerous shopping attractions as well as three golf courses and a casino. On the property there are a host of on-site facilities which include squash, gym, spa and a swimming pool. There are two restaurants on site.

Airport Shuttles

Delegates have to arrange their own transport from OR Tambo International Airport to Birchwood, as well as from other hotels to the conference venue, should they wish not to book accommodation at the Birchwood Hotel.  When you do the booking, please check with the relevant hotel what (if any) the cost of a shuttle or taxi service would cost.

The Birchwood Hotel offers a complementary shuttle service between the airport and the hotel from 13:30 to 22:10 every day. Please click here to see information about this shuttle service. The shuttle can be booked outside the scheduled times at R180 per trip.
